The Dragon Sword

Long ago there lived a great warrior who's feats were aided by a powerful wizard. Together the warrior and wizard travelled until coming upon a large hollowed mountain where a ferocious dragon slumbered within. Inside the mountain, beneath the sleeping dragon, lied a sword that, if claimed, would establish the owner as the Master of Dragons. The sword was legendary and held the proposed power to slay any dragon in a single swing. Needless to say the wizard and the warrior longed to covet this artifact immediately. Thus a plan was struck. While the wizard distracted the dragon with illusions of soldiers trying to take the mountain, the warrior crept up on the beast and cut it's throat from behind. The dragon, which had slew a million men, had finally fallen to the combined fury of might and magic. After taking the mountain and retrieving the Dragon Sword, neither the wizard nor warrior could decide upon which one of them would get to keep the blade. Both believed that they contributed more in the tricking and killing of the beast. Therefore both refused to relinquish their deserved  prize. Then, the wizard came up with the idea to separate the sword. It was decided by the both of them that the hilt would be taken by the wizard and the blade would be kept by the warrior. So the sword was split in two and both men agreed that if the world faced a powerful dragon-related threat, they would unite again to defeat said threat and rejoin the Dragon Sword for all time

Shadows Of Darkness

The Beast, seen only as a horned griffin, is the manifestation of void. It is the creature which the emptiness and the vastness of the black universe has created. The Beast is a tulpa and a being, pulled from the mind of a greater, forgotten primordial force; A being not good or evil. In the light of fire the griffin appears as gold, and under the light of the moon he is blue. The creature, birthed in the form of a griffin, breaths smoke and is the ally of fire. The Beast sits upon his throne, overlooking the mirror which floats within his foyer. This mirror reflects his own wickedness and shows him the darkness of the eternal cosmos; and that place where he had once come from, as well as the realm of void which he is destined to rule.

The Emerald Dorm

In a place of pillars, where the sun just barely brushes in, there are corridors of stone, blue and vibrant with a stillness about them. These pillars, lined in circular grooves, stretch up to the high ceiling and hold the long passageways of this marvelous dorm in a prestigious state. The pillars are swirled upward in a pattern of red and yellow, like amber and gold. Small streaks from the dorm’s center and the mountain’s rocky exterior make out the structure’s only view to the world outside. Far, within the most hidden of mountain-bases, this place hides doors, too mammoth for even giants to enter. This dorm was not contracted of god, nor of man, but of a force so ancient it carries no name. Eptuhk was this force, so ancient, it knew not the concepts of good or evil. This divine force knew only purity in being. The dorm was deep beneath earth, buried far and hidden just beyond the lowest reaches of the planet’s crust. Though reachable by those from the world beyond living, the dorm could be dreamed of, seen by those with eyes that could see beyond the norm. The dorm was a series of holds, chambers and keeps. These made up a palace of indescribable beauty. Each section was a shrine to the many fantastic gems and jewels of a time long forgotten. Hold One was Mmon. Presented with the first hold, I wept. For it’s treasure was vast, and it’s entrance, unmatched. The stone grew upon the walls and across the yards of space. Gold filled this room, masking the majesty of the Mmon. It was a blue, with a mist of white strands painting the inner-sphere. Like a dimension condensed in glass, the Mmon was smooth, with edges that were jagged, yet not sharp. Hold Two was Eryl. Presented with the second hold, I belched. It was an enriching brown, with yellow streaks. The minor light reflected upon upon the condensed surface, freeing a trapped spark. The colors were warm, as the smell of joy and merriment emanated off of the stone. Eryl was one of safety; a gem of promise and good fortune. Jovial waves came from within the rock, and with it came a just and peaceful feeling. Hold Three was Charo. Presented with the third hold, I laughed. Charo was a flowing-stone. It was a blue of particular design, etchings of white like the bubbling of sea foam. This gem was a vision into the inevitable. All knowledge seemed obtainable, and for a moment nothing mattered. My mind became lost to the endless continuum within the Charo. Hold Four was Oberyl. Presented with the forth hold, I sighed. The Oberyl was grey and white. The look was hard to make out, as the presence of this stone caused confusion. It gave off a fog that swallowed it’s shrine and hid the treasures surrounding it. When the smoke cleared the purpose of the stone was no clearer. It was the bane of thought. Hold Five was Thocera. Presented with the fifth hold, I flustered. As deep and sharp as the grass of the planet could grow, so was Thocera stone. And in it’s hold there was treasure, yet unseen. The green mineral shined a beam of supreme-green onto and around the treasure of it’s hold. The Thocera was a need, and embarrassment fluttered throughout my soul. Hold Six was Rysop. Presented with the sixth hold, I begged. It was red; And as crimson was dark as blood, or as scarlet ran rojo, Rysop was depth incarnate. Rysop presented all that it was and all that it had ever been. It was a stone of guilt and comeuppance. Looking upon it, I saw within myself. Despite my most righteous deeds, I was ashamed. The Rysop could never be appeased. Hold Seven was Abrador. Presented with the seventh hold, I fainted. Abrador was a purple that held all the colors that purple could ever be. It was everything at once, and the tone of royalty. This was the final stone of the dorm’s seven, and one of such nobility. The Abrador was ever-changing, twisting in it’s intrigue. It radiated the gold and treasures around it, fitting perfectly as the center piece for a grand collection such as this. These were the Seven Holds. And so, scattered through the dorm lies the rooms, dedicated to the races stones known to man and deity. It is in this dorm they will remain until the passing of time and the destruction of all things, or so it is foretold. So with the passing years, as with the shifting ages, all treasure hunters will dream of the dorm and it’s seven sacred stones, yet none will reach this place of solace. Or so it had always been believed. There sat a Chamber Of Diopes. This keep was one of yellow stone. The Diopes is the first guardian stone, held in the left chamber, keeping watch over the entrance to the Keep of Stones. This room is plain in comparison to the holds. The Diopes is the second strongest stone known throughout Nu’. It represents the properties of light and is said to be the main ingredient in creating an immortality elixir. There sat a Chamber of Obsyrel. This keep was one of clear stone. The Obsyrel is the second guardian stone, held in the right chamber, keeping watch over the entrance to the Keep of Stones. It’s essence has been used, throughout the ages, to craft weapons of unbreakable strength. Some of these include the ‘Kronuk’ buster-sword and the Siegewar Utarios shield. The Obsyrel is a clear stone, but when met with hard force the interior of the stone fills with a blackness. This makes the gem far stronger than is is perceived. Nearly indestructible, the only thing that break Obsyrel is the Diopes. This final room, round in shape, was the place where the gems where immortalized. It was the Keep of Stones. With pillars of gold separating each sectioned portion of the circular room, the treasures were pushed close to the walls, making room to show off the gleaming-pearl floor. The ceiling was dazzled in sapphires and rubies, and everything glistened. Mortal eyes could not look upon this keep, as all the magnificent beauty in the universe could never compare to the appearance of the keep. Between each golden pillar was an arch, strung up in stardust and illuminated tinsel. Tokens, swords, shields and cups, smelted in precious metals line the floor. Upon the view of the stones, of course, these metals are of no value. It is this room which contains the greatest collection of treasure in known existence.
